About me
I have always thought of myself as a Narrative Artist.
I studied at the West Surrey College of Art under the tuition of Surrealist and Royal Academy Artist Peter Rees-Roberts and have painted, mainly in oils, for over 50 years.
I have lived in Fleet for over 40 years and there have been times of sporadic work.
There are many sources of inspiration but, much of my work comes to me as a camera shutter going off in my head, I see the finished picture in my mind. Music is also a prolific wealth of inspiration for me.
Many of my paintings have obscure elements in them and I wonder if you see them as you take a time to contemplate the stories within.
I hope you enjoy my visual compositions.
